Let's talk Walmart, now I know a lot of people refused to shop at Walmart, for many different reasons.
I shop there, and yes I bitch a lot about the quality of service. This morning I went there to get a few things, my hubby drinks two beers when he gets off work, not one not three but just two, and he only works 3 days a week, because after all he is retired. So back to the Walmart story, I decide not to go  to self checkout and I will get back to self checkout later. So after I go to checkout the young cashier who apparently was not old enough to check beer out says I will have to get a manager to override, she walks away gone maybe couple minutes and comes back and continues to ring me out, meantime line behind me is starting to get more people and I can tell they are getting agitated, for one reason one of the ladies who had been waiting in another line, got out of that one and go into the one I was in. Cashier is done ringing me up and we are still waiting for the manager to come, after about 5 minutes I say to cashier, well can you call her again, she says it can only be a manager, okay well get her over her, after another couple minutes manager comes strolling up of course with no apology and of course no greeting, the young cashier tell her that I and they lady behind me were upset that it took her so long, so then the manager develops attitude. This is exactly why people hate Walmart.
So here is the thing about self checkout, does it really save time, because if you buy tobacco, or liquor or even some meds or cough syrup somebody has to come over and check it out.
This makes for a frustrating shopping day.
Let's talk opioids just for a minute, now if you know me well you know my hubby has chronic back pain, for which he takes meds, or if we are labeling yes opioids, now without his meds lets just say he himself is very miserable, not mention I have to live with this man, okay so I see the pain he is in, I also have to suffer if he does not get his meds, because he is not a happy camper without. We pay a lot of money for our insurance so we both get very frustrated when the insurance makes us jump threw hoops and all kinds of crap just to get his meds. I know there are lots of questions when it come to opioids, be rest assure there are people, not all but some who do not abuse the drug, but because of the ones that do people like my husband have to suffer.
What is you opinion ?
