Good positive thoughts today, with the virus and all that is kind of hard to do, but we have to remain positive or else I guess we would loose our minds.
On a lighter note I will make sure to have plenty of toilet paper on hand for next time.
We had snow all day yesterday, it was crazy and today very cold outside, but I see now the sun is trying to peek threw, aw there it is now, sweet.
So how are things in this crazy life going, well not to bad really I guess, could be worse I guess, I am healthy and I feel good still have my job. I am not going to lie I worry a little, but according to my adult children the is just stupid to worry. Well I am going to keep my chin up and try to think positive and hope this all passes soon.

My take on the Coronavirus, this is scary my kids all say mom don't worry, but again they know me well, and that is easier said than done.
I never thought in my lifetime I would see something like this. I prayed last night for this to go away,
it is very unsettling, the whole thing going to the grocery store and seeing shelves empty, why?
I work in the public, and I half to say its been uneasy, retail all our boxes that we unpack come from china. The customers coming in you look and you wonder are they sick, will I get?
What if I get it? I don't know I guess you either make it or you don't. Schools closing, major sports events, any place that has large gatherings. Living in the big city am I safer here than if I was back at the small town I grew up in? Well I don't know, but life goes on for right now, work as usual, grocery shopping as far as anything else one day at a time.
On a good note I am healthy, I see the sun is shining and spring is slowly becoming in the air, I can not wait to start on my garden and enjoy some outdoors, start canning. I love sitting out on my deck in spring and summer drinking my coffee, watching the birds, and reading a good book, life does not get any better.
Well with that being said we have not filed our taxes yet, we always have to pay for some reason.

It's snowing, what's new, actually here in Ohio since we have been here for the last five years, weather as been really odd, so they say. This year very mild, so I can not complain. I am so looking foreword to Spring so I can get excited about gardening, do you garden? If so please share your tips with me, I also love to can food. I have to run a few errands this morning, my day off, so I was like
I don't really want to put on makeup, so I put a little blush and eyebrows, now here is the thing for most of my life I have not worn eyebrow pencil or really did anything to my brows other than pluck them once in a while. Now it is a must, and realize how much of a difference it makes, crazy right, or maybe not. I am not a hairy person, meaning I don't have to shave under my arms very often at all, just lucky I guess, now I don't go out very often without makeup, but here in Ohio I don't know very many people, so it's all good. My mother never goes out without lipstick, she does not wear makeup, but got to have her lipstick on. Mike's birthday is Sunday and my friend at Kohl's, Sadie it is her birthday also, so I am going to make raspberry filled cupcakes with buttercream frosting, from scratch mostly, sounds yummy I can hardly wait.
Still not filed our taxes yet, don't even want to know how much we owe, crazy it is we don't even make that much money but we have to pay a couple grand every year now.
So life is still good so far, everyone is well, not much more we can ask for at this point in our lives, except winning the lottery, oh wait, you got to play right?

So I went to the dentist yesterday, only the second time I have been since we moved to Ohio.
We have insurance, god knows we have insurance and we pay a ridiculous amount for it.
My appointment was 11:15, well of course I was early because that is just me. so after waiting 30 minutes, I get taken back, for lots of x-rays , then its g back out to lobby and wait again for about 10 minutes. I get called back again, now this room I went into, this is a medical facility, so in my mind it should be fairly clean and sanitary, well needless to say it just was not, I am really not picking about this kind of stuff normally, but after waiting like over 30 minutes in that chair I had plenty of time to look around and see how the floor looked like maybe it had not been mopped in a few days and just a lot of little things that made me almost get up and walk out. Finally a doctor comes in, now mind you most of the time a new doctor will introduce this doctor said hi, walked behind me where my x-rays where, so I thought maybe he is not even the doctor. Well he was doctor, he proceeds to go over everything with me, he seems nice enough. We get all done, I explain all I'm wanting done at this time was to get my tooth filled, where I had lost a filling, some of the tooth broke and there was this gaping hole, we then have discussion about my (plan) now I have been to dentist before I know how this works, they want you to have all this work done. So he tells me come this way and Dominic will go over everything with you.
Dominic introduces himself, I again explain to him what I am wanting done at this time, then he proceeds to tell me my options about my plan. A cleaning which I know I need, but $600.00, its a little more extensive than the regular but in my mind I am say OMG. I say no to that, lets move on,
He then ask do you remember my name, and I say no, he ask if I remembered the doctors name I say no because the doctor never introduced himself, he says okay I will have to talk to him about that, I'm, ,, like okay. Now we are onto I might need a crown or even a root canal on the other side where I have a cavity, yeah I get it, but once again I explain I am here to get the other fixed today. so when all is done its like over two grand for my like so called "plan". I tell him my insurance that I pay out the you know what must suck. He tell me it pays a percentage, so by this time it is going on almost 2 hours I have been there my stomach is starting to growl. We get to just the tooth I want fixed, no guarantees this will work but before we have anymore discussion , says he needs to go talk to doctor.
Dominic comes back after a few minutes, says he consulted with my doctor and another and they want it known that this might not work, I was like,
yeah I get it, that is what the doctor told me. He then says okay and tells me it will be $213.00, I am like okay, he then says he needs to go talk to doctor again, he comes back and says okay is 4:00 today okay its now 1:00 I have already been there two hours. I say okay, he says okay that will be $267.00, I say I thought you said $213.00, he says well doctor, whatever the doctors name is , I swear I do not know what his name is, anyway he says doctor says you need this, some kind of BS.
By now I am like okay, he then says how will you be paying, and I ask, what I pay before the work is done and he shook his head yes, then he said well you will be back a 4:00 so you can pay then.
Now I try not to go back as early as I did so around 3:45 I'm there, the waiting room is full, but keep in mind they told me to come back at 4:00. The lady I'm sitting next to I hear her on the phone tell some one she has been waiting for 45 minutes, by now I am like whatever. I tell myself I will give it till 4:30 and that is it, I am already on my phone looking for another dentist, I kid you not.
I noticed when I signed in there was a name above mine, also the name Lucille. I realize it a older women, seems to be there with her son, she goes up its not quite 4:30 yet and ask how much longer,
I have no idea how long she had been there, but few minutes later they come out and call Lucille, so she gets up and because her name was before mine I just assume it's for her so they take her back.
It is now approaching 4:30 so I get up and go to the receptionist and ask, very nicely, I might add, do you know how much longer it will be, because in my mind I am thinking you guys are the ones who told me to come back at 4:00. She says let me go check, she comes back after a few minutes and says it should only be a few minutes I say okay, go back and sit down. In the mean time the other Lucille comes out with her son, and seems to be pissed off, at that moment I am thinking well that was quick, things moving right along, but I do take note that something was wrong, so I am thinking in mine just leave, then they come out and call my name.
So I go back to another area which seems to be a little cleaner than the other area they had me in before. They tell me they sent the wrong Lucille back, she was supposed to go to the other doctor, anyway, we get started, I am nervous as always when I sit in the dentist chair, that's why I don't go very often, anyway everything was fine it was quick and painless, it seem to be on the up and up,
but I still have no idea what doctors name is, and I have no intentions of ever gong back there again,
I will find another dentist, with a new PLAN.

Christmas has come and gone, just like the song, before you know it, its already here.
The weather has been crazy warm also. The boys are still here it has been nice to have them home.
Now I will soon be ready to get my house back in order, then on to taxes, don't even want to think about that. What are your plans for this year?
Made a appointment for my mamo, get that out of the way. My aunt Ellen came for Christmas she is 91, getting up there, bless her heart she can hardly walk. My mother not to far behind her either.
Life is still good and on to a new year, Happy New year to everyone.

Wow end of the year is almost here, hard to believe the year has come nd gone.
I was supposed to work this morning, I woke up early, no news there. I did however wake up with a sty this happens once in a while, I say sty I don't really know my eye is swollen an puffy and deformed looking. It usually goes away, but today it seems to be lingering, so I felt best to stay hope, funny I never call in hardly ever, and when I do I feel bad, because I knew that puts them in a pickle, but I just was not feeling it today. Christmas shopping all done, and what can I say Kohl's and amazon are wonderful. My parents are coming for Christmas along with the three Seney boys and Kate, Chris's girlfriend, so I am beyond happy I love a house full, love to cook for them and make everyone happy. Dustin will be here this Saturday, I always have to sing, Saturday when I spell it out.
We had to get a new furnace this year and last week new refrigerator, always something, never can get ahead. In February we will have been here in Ohio for 5 years, that is crazy and yet it seems like it has went by so fast. Mike still in lot of pain with his back, and I know its just never going to get better, I just wish he could get some relief once in a while would be nice for him.
So next got to start thinking about taxes, oh goodie I can hardly wait, we will have to pay of course, why I don't know, I do know I have worked over at kohls and that will be taking away from my Social Security. Nothing is taking out of my social security so I will have to pay taxes on that also.

So today, I let down my defense, almost got scammed. If you know me at all, then you know I always think someone is out to get me, not just me I mean like in general somebody is always looking to screw some one over. I worry because my parents are older and when my mom answers the phone she has almost many times fell for these scammers the only thing that keeps her from going threw is she is unable to drive, thank goodness. So I was having a problem with my I pad the screen is cracked, which is a first for me. So I googled apple site for tech support, clicked on what I thought was a legitimate site, anyway I tell the India guy, of course this is nothing new the fact that he is of India decent, if you are offended by this oh well. I told him the problem, I gave no information other than my name and the serial number of my device, so he says it would cost $100.00 for new I pad, then says something to the effect to deposit and I thought what does that mean, so I explained I don't want new I pad I want the screen replace, he then said $50.00 and someone will come to your home to pick it up, which I thought was weird so I said I don't think this is legitimate I will just take it to a apple store, then he proceeded to tell me to go F MYSELF and I said what!!!!!! Then he hung up as I said a few choice words back. OMG, WOW is all I can say. So I learned something today from my son who is very tech savvy, he said if I google something and it has AD IN FRONT that means its not the real deal. So on to better news, Las Vegas trip was a blast, loved everything, great time, family and friends. My plane, the flight was great no issues, I might be safe to say my fear of flying is gone,maybe.
