I'm 63 years old, married to hubby for 31 years. What is interesting about that, I don't know, why don't you tell me.
My life has had ups and downs. I have raised 6 boys, all have made me very proud.
I'm a grandmother of five. I still work full time at Kohl's 32 hours week, I took my social security at 62 because who knows how long we are going to be on this earth. My aunt just turned 91 and my mom is going to be 85,so it sounds like the odds are in my favor.
My husband an I moved to Ohio about five years ago. I was born in Ohio but not raised here.
I grew up in Arizona, where my husband was born, where all my kids were born.
My husband retired from the state of Arizona from the highway department after 30 years.
He has chronic back, and quite frankly pretty much hates everything. I mean if I am going to put this out there on the information highway why lie or sugarcoat my life it is what it is.
I on the other hand enjoy life, I love every day I wake up, and I try to thank god for each and every
day. Hubby does not believe there is a god. That is his problem, not mine.
Some of my interest are cooking, canning, sewing, quilting, paper crafting and gardening , I also enjoy reading. Sometimes I enjoying just staying home sitting on my deck drinking hot coffee.
As winter will soon be approaching I have discovered I like hot apple cider also.
I often wonder if there are other women like me, meaning that the kids are grown, and its just me and hubby at home. A lot of groups I follow on social media, rather its about budgeting , cooking, or whatever they are still raising family's so I'm looking for people just like me.
I love technology ,I only wish I had it when I was younger.
My problem with this thing called technology is I don't want to take the time to read how it works I Just want it to work.
